BE YOUR OWN ROBO-CALLER

BE YOUR OWN ROBO-CALLER

BE YOUR OWN ROBO-CALLER

Prepare to make your voice heard.

Before you begin the steps below, have your phone handy.

Via the legislators sites you can find a means of contacting them by email and snail mail.  I Urge you to use the telephone instead.  That is the means of REALLY getting their attention.

Congress, State Governor and State Legislature:

1.  Go to 270towin/elected-officials/

2.  For the most accurate information fill in your full address

3.  .A page will open up giving you addresses & telephone numbers of your elected officials.

  1. The symbols underneath their names are for other means of contacting them.

PUT THOSE TELEPHONE NUMBERS IN THE CONTACTS LIST OF YOUR PHONE.

Now you are ready to begin being your own robo-caller. Well, sort of….  Once you are set up this way, you can call any and/or all of your elected officials and let them know what you expect them to do on any given issue in just a few minutes – everyday, if necessary.

Two tips to make it go well.  Jot down a note on what you want to say – with bill numbers, if you have them.  Remember to be concise, as brief as possible and polite.

I am assuming, if you are reading this, you are already plugged into sites and receiving newsletters all of which provide you with information about issues of importance to you.  If you need any help in that department, check out our Resource Library at www.womensvoicesmedia.org.
