  • LookUp

    https://lookup.live/mission

LookUp is a social venture dedicated to helping young people thrive in the digital world.

We discover, empower, and support youth leaders. These leaders are taking action to raise awareness, inspire, and design a healthier, more inclusive, and responsible digital world. Our focus is youth centered agency and makes up our core values and practices. We don’t tell these leaders of the future what to do. We ask them.

    We LookUp

To feel proud of who we are & finding our confidence in ourmost authentic selves.

To connect with others interpersonally and create a supportive and unique community.

To improve the world we live in.

To create tech life balance that is healthy for us both socially and personally.

To reach out when we need to break free from the mental hardships we battle personally and online.

     For hope and empowerment.

  • OUR FAMILY COALITION

      https://ourfamily.org/

For over twenty years, Our Family Coalition has provided community-building and support for LGBTQ+ families with children, prospective parents, youth, allies, community partners, and volunteers.

We offer a wide range of programming – 250-300 events annually – including informational workshops, peer- and professional-led support groups, field trip outings, seasonal celebrations, informal meet-ups, play groups, and more in both San Francisco and the East Bay

Our Family Coalition’s Education Team works with families, teachers, administrators, and child-serving professionals to support their school communities and agencies in becoming more welcoming of LGBTQ+ families, children, and our allies.

We also work with California K-12 public school communities and education professionals as they adopt and teach the new LGBTQ-inclusive history and social science curriculum.

Our advocacy is focussed on increasing visibility and equity for all LGBTQ families. Driven by parent leadership from our own community, we work with local, state, and national partner organizations to advocate for change on the issues relevant to our families, including family equality, inclusive schools, immigration reform, and healthcare reform. In the media and in political forums, we work to improve public perception of and policy for LGBTQ families.

The Young Feminist Party is the political home for young feminists in the United States. We are building a powerful movement of young people, from communities and campuses across the country, to finalize the Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) and advance gender justice for all.

We started out in 2019 as a handful of teenagers in Virginia working to secure the 38th and final state ratification needed to publish the ERA. Since Virginia’s ratification in 2020, we have grown into a nationwide movement of over 14,000 young people organizing for gender justice in our communities and Constitution. Through direct actions, legislative advocacy, electoral organizing, and judicial advocacy, The Young Feminist Party recruits, trains, and mobilizes young people to advance feminist policies–whether that’s strengthening our school’s Title IX policies or amending our nation’s most foundational document.

Become a member today to access party-wide resources, communication channels, and movement-building opportunities. Membership is free. Events and actions are open to everyone, regardless of membership status, but if you are down with the movement and want to take sustained action with us, become an official member of the Young Feminist Party.

    Be Pro-Truth

Throughout the United States, Anti-Abortion Centers, often calling themselves “crisis pregnancy centers”, deceive and shame people seeking reproductive healthcare including abortions. And today, they outnumber legitimate reproductive healthcare facilities.

Every day these centers use lies, manipulation, and intimidation to prevent people from choosing or accessing abortions.

These centers adopt names that sound like actual reproductive healthcare centers.

These centers will tell pregnant people that complications such as increased risk of infertility and breast cancer are linked to abortion procedures.

Real doctors and real healthcare facilities must comply with HIPPA.  Anti-Abortion Pregnancy Centers are not considered medical facilities and are, therefore not required to comply with HIPPA.

Pro-Truth is part of a growing network of state programs seeking to raise awareness of the misleading and disingenuous tactics of these so-called health clinics.

We believe that all people have the right to access to quality healthcare, the right to make informed decisions about their own body and the right to know the truth about the providers from whom they seek care.
