Equal Representation
Paraphrasing a statement from legendary feminist Eleanor Smeal: “Asking for an equal number of seats at the table, doesn’t have to mean taking away someone else’s seat. You just make the table bigger.” Of course it isn’t possible to make every “table” bigger and add a greater number of seats – such as seats in Congress - but the idea is that men don’t have to be afraid of sharing the power equally. Unfortunately circumstances suggest women are just going to have to take the power – from the halls of Congress, to the State Houses, to the City Council, to the corporate headquarters, etc., etc. These sites are intended to help you find allies and gain knowledge so you can take your power.
