At Rights4Girls, we work to make the lives of young women and girls a human rights priority by:
- Empowering girls and survivors to become agents of change
- Educating lawmakers and advocating for policy reforms that center the needs of marginalized girls
- Providing training and technical assistance to judges, systems professionals and service providers
- Launching public awareness campaigns that shift the narrative around girls impacted by violence
- Conducting ground-breaking research and producing innovative reports
- Building partnerships with other youth-serving organizations and non-traditional allies to create a movement for girls’ rights.
We advocate for policies that provide young women and girls with safety, justice and the support needed to heal from trauma.
We work to dismantle the Abuse to Prison Pipeline and promote decarceration efforts for young women and girls currently in the system.
We train judges, system professionals and communities on alternatives to detention and centering the needs of vulnerable youth.
