This coming week in memory of RBG dedicating all my signed book profits from orders of Your Voice, Your Vote: The Savvy Woman’s Guide to Politics, Power, and the Change we Need to the ACLU Women’s Rights Project, which she founded in 1972. Help me honor her at marthaburk.org

As long as most politicians think women don’t count, and many women believe them, they won’t vote. The premise is forgone; “I don’t count ergo my vote doesn’t count.” This is the curse of a patriarchal society. The best way to turn that upside down is to VOTE. “I vote, therefore I count.” Then use your new status as a voter and make a difference.
Her speech on the House floor was the takedown of the century. Every woman should watch it whether you completely agree with her politics or not. It transcends party.
These are not just insults. These a tests to see how far the right can go unpunished before the make a power play for total control of the government. They are testing the waters before they create their fascist state.
These are the types of voices that need to be heard more often.
YES!!! We must ALL join together to get Trump out of office. If we don’t the loss may well be our fault. This includes ALL the parties coming together!!!

Don’t forget that these corporations get low wage employees who also receive public assistance, such as food stamps (snap) and aid for dependent children (adc).
